I received an email with a link to a story about Bryan
Hughes and litigation filed against Wood County Texas. The Wood County Commissioner’s Court is being
sued for its prayer before meetings and for the words “In God We Trust” on the
courtroom wall. The article reports that
Hughes in his capacity as a private attorney is working with the Liberty
Institute to defend the County.
I find this pretty interesting. It looks like Bryan Hughes has become a
constitutional defender as a recent makeover – couldn’t possible have anything
to do with his quest to become Speaker of the Texas House of Representative’s
could it?
Well – I did some digging and I could not find one other
case in which Hughes defended the constitution in this manner – but I did find
a lot of cases he participated in as a trial attorney… It thought I would list them below and let
you judge for yourself.
Case No: 5:97-cv-00118-DF

This is a case about a guy shopping at Walmart and slipped
on something “clear and slick” causing him to fall and hurt himself.

There are literally dozens more cases. I will put them up as I find time – and complete
my research. Bottom line is Bryan Hughes
is a fraud – he is a trial lawyer who sues companies with deep pockets to get
rich and make all our cost go up. How he is even a Republican is beyond me!

In case Trucks for Sale in Texas carry a Speaker for the House, then it would really make a controversy.
